no nik muk no tin lik…

Gnarly animated GIF…what’s there to say about the original Frankenstein movie. Lots I suppose, there’s probably books about books on the topic. Monster. I’ve been a monster. A monster created by circumstances, shit I was born with and shit I chose to do. That’s life. I Know I was ‘that’ guy when I was drinking, liquid courage is what we called it. Wannabe brawler and slut. A decaying fish. This song reminds me a bit of those days (if only I had listened to the lesson it had for me when I was first listening to it in the early 80s…hahahah, no use cryin’ over spilt milk)…
Get your bravery from a six pack
Get your bravery from a half-pint
Drink your whiskey, drink your grain
Bottoms up, and you don’t feel pain
Drink your whiskey, drink your grain
Bottoms up, and you don’t feel pain
Go out and fight, fight!
Go out and fight, fight!
Go out and fight, fight!
Go out and fight!
Bottled violence!
Lose control of your body
Beat the shit out of somebody
Half-shut eyes don’t see who you hit
You don’t take any shit!
Half-shut eyes don’t see who you hit
You don’t take any shit!
Go out and fight, fight!
Go out and fight, fight!
Go out and fight, fight!
Go out and fight!
Bottled violence!
Go out and fight, fight!
Go out and fight, fight!
Go out and fight, fight!
Go out and fight!
Bottled violence!

My dry docked sailor pal, Brian came through on a request of mine…if you could only have three, which CDs would you have in your car? His three…
Primus live in Eureka ‘94 (I saw them several years earlier in McKinleyville (89?) if I’m not mistaken, wasn’t in the right head space to appreciate them at the time…now’s a different story)
The Accused- return of Martha Splatterhead (an example of an outstanding album that I do not own)
Jesus Lizard – Goat (another example of an outstanding album that I do not own. It was Ed Cole who go me into those guys.)
“Those are 3 of the 6 I have currently (haven’t changed them for some years, who remembers CDs anymore. Spotify, man!).”  Thanx B!

Kinda in a funk right now, fighting something health wise, ongoing troubles with the back, missing Mom and just feeling a little blue (what’s new), but believe me, I’d rather be Standing On The Verge Of Getting It On

Along those lines and speaking of the Primus show in ’89, our good buddy Ed Cole was in the band No Nik Muk To Tin Lik and they opened up that show if I’m not mistaken. Humboldt funk punk, from some youngins way back when, fucking love it (perhaps I can get Ed to give some back round on the band, like a politician in front of the grand jury, I remember nothing)!
